In this “Replacing SharePoint Designer with VS Code” Part 1 video, we will see how to setup our environment so that we can use Visual Studio Code and accomplish the following:

  • Examine a use case for using SharePoint Designer today
  • Review the benefits of Visual Studio Code
  • Configure a Folder & File structure that will best support the use of Visual Studio Code to edit SharePoint JavaScript & CSS files.
