Screen Capture
DemoCast uses your browser's built-in screen capture. When you start a capture, the browser shows its own permission prompt and you choose what to share. That content is used only inside the local DemoCast mirror window and is never transmitted to Warner Digital or any third party.
Extension Settings
DemoCast may store preferences in your browser, such as overlay colors, shortcut display, and performance options. These live in browser extension storage and are used only to make the extension work as expected.
Permissions
- storage saves your extension settings in your browser.
- tabs locates, opens, and focuses the DemoCast mirror window when you use the focus shortcut. It is not used to read or modify webpage content.
