Office 365 Logos 2018 – Photoshop Layered & Color Overlay Editable

In November 2018, Microsoft released new Office App Icons designs that bring a new depth and modern feel the Office365 icons we’ve come to know and love.

Thanks to Matt Wade and Nate Chamberlain, we have some high resolution versions of the new icon in .png format.

With my “Warner.Digital” site being so branded for my chosen Purple/Orange color scheme, I knew I would need to get color editable versions of these logos for my M365.Video vlog posts and other related community contributions. I set out using Photoshop to convert the high resolution .png for SharePoint into something I could edit the color of….but then realized, why not create layered, color editable versions of all the logo’s for the community to take and use…So here you go!!! 🙂

Each .psd file contains the logo defined by the file name, in multiple layers:

  • Primary Logo Layer: This layer contains the primary logo with a “Color Overlay” effect applied to it. You can edit this color overlay to apply any color desired along with the desired opacity.
  • Text “S” – Right Layer: This layer contains the letter for each logo. This is the letter in the right logo. You can either leave it as the white, make it transparent or add a “Color Overlay” to it for a contrasting color to the logo.
  • Text “S” – Left Layer: This layer contains the letter for each logo. This is the letter in the left logo. You can either leave it as the white, make it transparent or add a “Color Overlay” to it for a contrasting color to the logo.
